About Me

Hello my name is Samantha Illingworth, and I am a Qualified Reflexologist. I live and work in a beautiful part of the UK, known as The English Riviera.

My reflexology career began in 2007, when a family member received a treatment whilst on holiday. They mentioned how lovely it was and that I should try it myself, so I did. A reflexology treatment was booked a few days later. I found the experience to be very relaxing and enjoyable. I had a few more treatments and each time I found that I became more fascinated by the whole reflexology experience. Many people seek reflexology for various issues such as depression, stress, sleep problems, fertility issues and maternity.

This led me to search out various universities, colleges and practitioners who offered training courses in this particular field. I decided on The School of Precision Reflexology, mainly due to the nationally recognised qualification and the course content. This gave me the ability to practise as a fully qualified practitioner.

I have been a Reflexologist since qualifying August 2009, having completed a Level 3 Diploma course in Precision Reflexology to Practitioner Standard.

Area of Interest

I have a keen interest in fertility and maternity issues. Having received reflexology treatments for fertility issues, understand how much of a roller coaster of emotions this can be for everyone involved.

I knew that this is the area that i would like to specialise in and help others who have decided to venture on this very special journey.

As a trained Seren Natural Fertility Reflexologist I am able to help in the treatment of pre conceptual care and infertility using complementary therapy.
Many clients seek fertility treatment with conventional medical practitioners.
As a serene therapist I am able to work in ways to enhance their therapies and boost the chances of success using your body’s own mechanisms. I am happy to treat both men and women at any stage in their fertility planning, whether they are enhancing their general health before trying for a baby, or experiencing problems with conception.

To further my interest, I have completed Part 1 and Part 2 of Susanne Enzer's Maternity Reflexology Course.
I am able to offer treatments to clients throughout the term of their pregnancy.

I am excited to be able to offer my clients the option of Hot Stone Reflexology Treatments from July 2016.
The idea of Hot Stone massage originated in India and China and has been around for centuries; ancient civilizations believed that hot stones cleansed the body and relaxed the heart, grounding the soul and soothing the mind. As the name implies, the treatment involves using smooth stones which are heated and are used to massage the lower leg and to carry out the reflexology.
Please email for details if you are intrested in this treatment
